with the aesthetics of the location but in a modern way.

Creative process
The Italian restaurant is located inside the Roundhouse Birmingham, a historic horseshoe-shaped building. This brought to the minds of the Italian owners of an Arena, hence the name of the restaurant.
The logo of the building itself recalls its particular structure, and this was the client's request: an original logo that could recall the appearance of the location.
The title was drawn following the structure of a circle.
The curved and precise lines make up the word, whose letters design the arches of the classic Italian arena.
A second circle has been added to the basic structure to assure that the 'feet' of the letters rest neatly on the same line. However, this addition made evident the depth of the design, so it has been integrated to the logo.
Having an already quite modern and abstract look, it has been decided to opt for a super classic palette for the colour combination. The contrasting colours of the typeface and the background take inspiration from the most popular pasta brand in Italy, Barilla. This brand is the most renowned even abroad and a symbol of Italianness.
